kiiid's fate is in your hands!

After the last question, kiiid responded that he would have gotten the right answer first if his boss called him away.  I once explained to the clerk at my 7-11 that I would have had the right lotto numbers if I hadn't been sick.  So I have little sympathy for you.

Should kiiid get a prize for almost sending the right answer?  I will leave it up to the job.

I am tempted to allow if he gets a note from his boss.  Also what sort of prize.

Anyway let me know!

Yeah, why not. I appreciate people who give it a go. As to the prize, an autographed book from the great Dave would certainly make his day!

    Paul. :)

    Dave, forget it!
Right, I wasn't happy and really wanted to win that evaluation board (I will get an autograph from you when we meet in person), but John Heenan was equally happy to my misery so there is balance. Good on him!
Maybe next time the contest will not be as easy as this one so I may get to be lucky and give the answer first...
BTW good luck with your lotto numbers when you're not sick! The lotto itself makes me sick.

    Dave.

It was such a "first serve, first win" question, or as John said: "... embarrassingly easy ...".
A some more challenging contest might avoid the problem right from the start
(Giving those guys who are deep asleep when you post your contest a fair chance as well).

I was making me suspicious, so that I asked myself: "What ist the real question behind it?".

Thought you wanted to point out that a "real" engineer would ask himself: "Does it make sense?" before looking for the errors (usually saving a lot of time).

So, kiiid may have the board or the book.

It's not so easy to get your book, because Cypress ran out of stock :-o and Amazon (Germany) does not have it :-(

You are a good sport. Email where you are located and if I am in town I will stop by and buy you a beer. I'd love to see what you do with PSoC.

I love to lotto. I think of it has a "Math Challenged Tax".

Once I had a garage sale. Someone asked me how much something cost. I said a dime each, two for a quarter. They took two and gave me a quarter. My daughter thought it was funny that they didn't realize that it was a worse not better deal. (She was seven at the time) I told her that what separates true humans from the posers is the ability to do math. Some people cannot or will not use math and it is imperative that you take them whenever possible.

So when I go to get an ice cream cake that is $16 for a small and $25 for the large. When the clerk goes to calculate the price, I say "18 dollars" if the clerk takes my word and not automatically know it should be $20, they deserve to be conned.

The book should be back in stock next week. It is temporarily off line because we are in the process of changing warehouses.
