AN2156: A Switched Capacitor Comparator with Programmable Hysteresis

A topology for a comparator with hysteresis is shown that exploits the analog modulator. This circuit is designed to have a programmable hysteresis, set by the ratio of the A and B capacitors of a switched capacitor block. This ratio can be dynamically reconfigured to change the hysteresis level at will. The positive feedback is achieved with the analog modulator in the Type C Switched Capacitor blocks.
