AN2236: Converting Projects from CY8C24x23 to CY8C24x23A

An improved version of the Cypress MicroSystems CY8C24x23 PSoCTM mixed-signal array is now available. Conversion from an existing CY8C24x23 project to the newer CY8C24x23A device is a straightforward process using the cloning feature of PSoC Designer. The CY8C24x23A device is supported in PSoC Designer starting with version 4.2. This Application Note takes you through the process of cloning your project and provides some tips for getting your project up and running with the CY8C24x23A. Modifying an existing PSoC Designer 4.1 project to support the CY8C24x23A without updating to PSoC Designer 4.2 is also explained.
