Basic principles of 6-Channel DMX Dimmer operation are described in this Application Note. A DMX dimmer can be used to control the brightness of remote lighting in theaters, discos, and concert halls. The device is controlled via a DMX interface. The structure, device function algorithm, interconnection circuits, DMX Protocol, and fundamental design aspects based on the PSoCTM device are considered.
