Digital Signal Processing (DSP) filterbanks are a common tool used in signal processing devices to separate the frequency content of complex electrical signals. This Application Note uses IIR filters, specially designed for PSoC firmware, to implement a multichannel filterbank that can be used in a variety of applications where a small number of frequency bands are needed.
