For many sensing applications, a desirable feature is to amplify the difference of two inputs. Traditionally this
has been done with instrumentation amplifiers. However, for ADCs with differential inputs, all that is required
is a differential amplifier. The unique configuration of the PSoCŪ continuous time analog blocks allows the
implementation of several different types of differential amplifiers. Details are given showing their
construction with Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) User Modules.
