AN2385: Phase Controller with Current Limit

Most phase driven current-limiting phase controllers use a resistor and a capacitor to average the current, a diode to stop the capacitor from discharging, and an amplifier to lift the current sensing voltage over the diode drop. As this Application Note shows, all those components become obsolete using a PSoC device.
