Difference between CSD and CSDADC user modules

Postby faceclock » Wed Oct 07, 2009 5:39 pm

Hi,

What is the exact difference between CSD and CSDADC user modules? I am doing a proximity sensing project. But I do not understand what ADC portion can provide. Does it just measure a pin's voltage? Does ADC provide any benefit for improving sensing performance?

Thanks.

No difference regarding CSD performance. CSDADC adds ADC capability to CSD at the expense of only one digital block.

It seems to me to be not really true, for example i can't find the Electrode Shield out in CSDADC block...
