Proximity sensor: firmware sensor ganging

Postby markos87 » Fri Oct 19, 2012 4:31 am

Hello Everybody !!

I'm working on PSoC C21434 using a CSD User Module.
I've read in the CapSense Design guide pag. 49 (Proximity Sensing) a way to realize a proximity sensor using more pads connected together...

For example,i've connected my 3 pads(P1_2, P1_4, P1_6) together using the Analog Mux bus as you can see in the picture attached, but I don't know how to read the data...
I've tried it making a single

ScanSensor(0);
UpdateBaselineSensor(0);

after that I've enabled only the 3 pads desired...What about the sincronization of the acquisition ??Every time I call a scan, the ADC sample the data on the Analog bus or the data of a single sensor?

Anybody have some advices for this??
Thank you boys!
