Great news everyone. PSoCDeveloper will not be shutting down. Tell your friends! :-)

I should be able to post more details in the next week or so, but, it is a sure thing. PSoCDeveloper is here to say.

Try to over-print to get "TOP PSOCDeveloper.com" as I did with my tatoo.

I'm not sure what I can do with the words:
"Life after PSoCDeveloper.com just wasn't the same"
which I pre-ordered and paid for, on my tombstone.

;-)

Kenny,
since (as I presume) your tombstone is not engraved yet you may choose any other words that describe your current mood.
Alternatively you could ask for a monthly ticket to change the text more often

or

use an LCD a small solarpanel a button and a PSoC. Program the PSoC to display your morse-message continously, learn morse-code immediately.

Ah but over time the naturally occurring background radiation shifts the FLASH threshold
to the point it can't be read anymore. So tomb stone might well outlast the PSOC.

Unless the super volcano getting ready to blow in Yosemite lets loose, then we will all
be in the deep freeze.

So little time, so much stress :(

Regards, Dana

@Dana
I'm quite sure when the eeprom is killed it will not stress Kenny anymore
And when the caldera in yellowstone erupts I'm afraid that this will be the time when the solarpanel fails. Will be a bad year for selling sunglasses 8)

I think you mean Yellowstone, not Yosemite. Although if it does blow, I don't think there will be much difference...

Dear Eric,
It makes me happy that you've somehow managed to keep PSoCDeveloper running.
Too many good websites have gone offline, or grabbed by domain squatters, or overrun by spammers.

Thank you.

p.s.: Anyone know what happened to the discussion forums on the Gainer website?
The Gainer PSoC development boards have a lot of potential.

p.p.s.: Perhaps you can settle a little conflict between an esteemed colleague and I.
Does Eric really have trained pigeons to pick out the spammers and peck on the "delete" button,
or is it more like a Beowulf cluster of adorable dachshunds ?

I sure can echo the sentiment. And I am glad to confirm the site will remain active.
We will be transferring the site to a new hosting service this weekend with Eric's help. It will remain a third party forum and not rolled into the CDC.

We are making sure that the transition goes smoothly this weekend (we have done a dry run :D), but with these things you never know.

I am excited for the opportunity to take this effort which Eric pioneered forward and maintain the support for the community built around PSoC Developer.

I wish it was something that cool. Unfortunately it is just plain old human effort. Admins get a text message whenever a new users makes their first post. An admin then reviews the post and either deletes the post and the account, if it is spam, or approves the post. If the post is approved no future posts from that user require approval.
