Variable "not in current context" while debugging

Debugging, ICE Cube, aqdd a variable to watch window, set break after variable has
been loaded, and watch window tells me variable is "not in current context". I go to
ISR file where variable is actually loaded, set another break, still watch window will
not show value of variable ?
