PSoC CY8C24123A24SX in RS232 connector house

Hi,

I got a request from one of my customers to deliver a set of RS232 interface connectors. Previous supplier told customer they quit business.
Hence he asked me for help.

The interface use a Cypress PSoC (CY8C2423A24SX) on a very small footpath.
It is even so tiny that it fits inside a RS232/DB9 connector. DB9 is attached to bouar

Looks to me as something that could be a Common of the Shelf product and I can buy somewhere.

Functionality is quite simple. It monitors a push button switch and reports how long or when switch is pressed or released.
I assume that PCoC is calculating the time difference between two event and send info on to system.

If somebody knew where I can order such equipment please let me know.

Hi Jan,
I'm afraid you will not get your PSoC-device "off the shelf" but (and this is the good message) you will probably find someone who is able to design this for you.
Use the Cypress-home page and search under Support -> Design Partner Program to find someone in your region.
The project should be done (when all specs are given) within one day (8 Hours) plus creating the board. PSoC cost are < 2 USD.
