Are there any tools readily available to use the SWV functionality for PSoC3, or is this still roll your own at this point? I can't seem to find much for the cypress parts - plenty for ARM based chips, but I'm not sure that really helps here.

Unfortunately we do not have support for that in PSoC Creator yet. We hope to have added it by the end of the year. It will support both PSoC 3 and PSoC 5 parts.

Hello,

does this mean that it is not possible to make use SWV interface before this function is implemented in the Creator?
I want to use the interface to output data via UART protocol over the pin.

I have used the description in the TRM but it doesn´t work.
Is there somewhere an example or a more detailed explanation how to use the SWV interface?

Regards, TK

Unfortunately, SWV is not supported in PSoC Creator and so is also not available through the MiniProg3 yet. I cannot think of an alternative I am afraid.

Ok, thanks for reply! But I did not quite understand :? .So far I don´t use SWV and I did not know much about it.
My question is whether if it is possible to use SWV even without the Creator or MiniProg?

By that I mean to activate the interface in firmware and output the debug data on the SWV-pin? Or is it currently not usable at all?
