ICE Cube Driver Issue

Every once in a while driver, running latest version of programmer, Designer 5.2, will become an "unknown"
device in Vista Device Manager. If I uninstall driver, then scan for HW changes, it comes back as "unknown".
Additionally if I try to update driver by using http://www.cypress.com/?id=4&rID=30858, Vista device manager
indicates no driver installed, but when driver file is pointed to Vista reports best driver already installed.

I've got the very same environment, ICE-cube, Win Vista. I have never had a problem like that. Can it be related to cable / USB hardware?

Had this happen on tow differnt desktop systems and a LapTop. Cables swapped out
as well.

The point about windows stating best driver is installed when no driver is installed,
thats got to be a driver issue on Cypress side.

What's about the usual procedure?
Shut down and power-off everything (PC, unplug ICE-Cube)
Restart PC, when the disk-light goes off re-plug your ICE (sometimes it may help to use a different USB-connector as second try)
