problem to connect MiniProg3

Postby elganor » Fri Feb 15, 2013 4:51 am

Hello everyone,
I just bought a Miniprog3 and I can't have it been recognized with PSoC Programmer. I installed the last driver and associated softwares but when I try to connect it with PSoC Programmer, there is the message I've got :

| Select Port in the PortList, then try to connect
Failed Connect to MiniProg3/1216DD000981 at 13:31:43
| SetLedState(...) failed in MiniProg3
Opening Port at 13:31:38|

and the red indicator still red with "not connected" write on it.

Does someone know what this is about?
I'm not sure if it means something but when I connect the Miniprog3 in the USB port, all LEDs blink once and Windows (which is windows seven 64bits by the way) recognizes the hardware this is about.
The problem is critical, I have to use it this week end and I don't know what to do ; I didn't find anything related on the forum.
Thank you
Nicolas

I never used the Miniprog3 together with the Programmer.
Are you connecting to a PSoC1 3 or 5 device?
Did you connect the MP3  to your target vis SSP connector or are you using the ribbon-cable and connect to SWD?
