miniprog3 can't be recognized

miniprog3 can't be recognized

Hi
A friend give me a miniprog3, but my computer recognize it as a unknow USB device.
I've installed psoc designer and programmer already.
Is it broken?

What are you trying to program with your Miniprog3? Have you got a development kit?? Which one???
The miniprog usually comes together with a Kit for PSoC3 or 5 which need Creator 2.1 to define and program your project. Divers you may find here

Try a driver update from Windows, Device Manager, point update process to

C:\Program Files\Cypress\Programmer\3.16\drivers\mprog3

Note this is for Programmer 3.16.

[Problem solved]
er... actually I found it is not a miniprog3, it is a USB to i2c bridge.
