Problem using PSoC Programmer v3.12.6.870

Questions about programming (not codeing) PSoCs and Encore II as well as freeware programming hardware and software are discussed here. This is also the place to talk about production programming. Programming means loading a HEX file in to the Flash, not, writing your program.

Hello everybody,

We have a problem. We use CY7C64356 chips and use D download firmware. We found a chip has below error message.
Code: Select all
   Programming Terminated
   ===> Protect Failed
   Doing Protect
   Program & Verify Succeeded
   Program & Verify Starting
   Erase Succeeded

We have many CY7C64356 chips, but only one has such problem.
Then we use CY7C64356 chips to read the firmware in this wrong chip. Like below.
Code: Select all
          --- Flash Security Data ---

   0000: U W W U W F F R U W W F W W U F
   0800: R F U F W W F W W W R W F W W U
   1000: W F U R R W F W R W W W R U W F
   1800: R W U U R R W W R W F W W W W W
   2000: F R R W R W W W U W F W F W R W
   2800: R R R R U W U W R W W W F F F U
   3000: W W R F R F W W R W F U F U W W
   3800: R R U F R W W W U W R W U W F U
   4000: W R U W W R F W U F W F W F R R
   4800: U W U W W W U F R W W W R W W W
   5000: U W U W W F W R F F W W R U W F
   5800: W F U F F W F R W F F W R F R R
   6000: R W R F U W W W F F F W R W U F
   6800: W F R W R F W F R R R W R R W W
   7000: R W R R F F W R R F W W F U W W
   7800: R U R F W W U F W W F R W W W U
   Reading 32768 bytes of FLASH

Is this chip damaged ?
