I`m a beginner

Questions about programming (not codeing) PSoCs and Encore II as well as freeware programming hardware and software are discussed here. This is also the place to talk about production programming. Programming means loading a HEX file in to the Flash, not, writing your program.

Welcome in the fascinating world of PSoCs!
We all bave been beginners, so take it like Arthur Dent: "Don't Panic"!

To help you better: What equipment do you already have?
Do you own any development kit? In the case you do not have got a Kit-001, have you got an ICE-Cube?

PSoC1 (normally) does not have provisions for de-bugging and since it is VERY difficult to look into the chip you will need some provisions to watch your programmed chip.
Development kits usualy come with an easy-to-use 2-line LCD.

To make a long story short: I strongly suggest you to buy you a development kit for your project to start with.

If you have already programmed in C you will not have problems realizing your project.
