Eval Board Program fails up this day

Postby opsoc on Thu Feb 02, 2012 2:31 am

Hi,

starting today, I get errors on programming the PSoC5. The Device is recognized (CY8C5588) but than I get Unkown Device Errors with different Device IDs, e.g. 0x69, 0x00, 0x01, 0x13x069, 0xffffffff.

What happened here? I did restart my PC, Update the Programmer, restart the board, USB Programmer ... I'm using the latest PSoC Creator 1.

The latest Creator is 2.0. Also make sure the correct device is selected,
including engr rev level. In release notes there is a discussion of past
engr devices no longer supported by Creator.

a new PSOC board works, probably the old one is gone. BTW, how often I can flash the PSoC?

Flash can be made 50.000 times, that is 3 years, if you flash every hour, 24 hours a day including sundays.
