PSoC Express(TM) Version 1.1 [UPDATED March, 21, 2004]

INSTALLATION
If you already have PSoC Designer(TM) v4.2 and PSoC Programmer(TM) v1.17 installed, you may proceed directly to step D and install the new PSoC Express(TM) v1.1 software.

There is an option of installing PSoC Express v1.1 FOR SIMULATION ONLY, by not installing the other PSoC tools. In this case PSoC Express will not be able to build PSoC firmware (“Build” button or menu option) nor will it be able to program a PSoC device (“Program” button or menu option). You may install the other components later to upgrade to PSoC Express to full capability.

Full installation of PSoC Express relies upon two other PSoC development tools: PSoC Designer and PSoC Programmer. The installation order, minimum version numbers and links to download each item follows:
A) Download and install PSoCDesigner v4.2
B) Download and install PSoCDesigner v4.2 sp1
C) Download and install PSoCProgrammer v1.17
D) Download and install PSoCExpress v1.1 -- 18 MB [UPDATED March 21, 2004]

If any of these items have been installed previously, choose to remove them and then re-run the installation to install the new version. DO NOT CHOOSE THE “REPAIR” OPTION DURING INSTALL.
